An Aerosol Solution

Dr. Brian Kelly, a doctor at The Christ Hospital, was involved in creating an aerosol box with a local architecture and design company to protect doctors during intubations and other airway procedures in the OR, ER and ICU. The story touches on how this Cincinnati doctor is doing what many doctors worldwide are doing right now— putting to use anything and everything they can to protect themselves and their environment. PPE shortages were a large concern early on. His solution was to create a sealed system that could mitigate the risk of contracting the virus, and act as another layer of protection.

KEEPING THE COWBELL ALIVE

Ulisis Santiago went looking for quality hand-crafted cowbells and discovered a need for this instrument in the local Latin and American music scene in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Coming from a background of working with steel and his musical talents, Ulisis began to fill a void in the community. He has garnered a great amount of pride and respect from the community, especially the local Puerto Rican community in Wisconsin.
